Japan Vlog
A vertical travel-vlog workflow that turns model-based reference stills into seven directed clips and one final CapCut edit.
This breakdown starts by creating reference images from a prebuilt model reference sheet, then uses each still for its matching video shot, with Seedance handling speech shots and Kling handling motion-driven scenes.
Workflow
- 1Create the still images that anchor the look, outfit, framing, and location for each later video shot.
- 2Use each still as the identity and composition reference for its matching motion clip.
- 3Arrange the generated clips into one vertical sequence, add stickers, and finish the social edit with music.

Breakdown Step
1. Reference images
Create the still images that anchor the look, outfit, framing, and location for each later video shot.
Each of these stills was created by first passing in a model reference sheet, then generating the final scene-specific reference image from that base.
The prompt for the underlying model image is intentionally not shown here. Instead, use the included character reference sheet PDF with your own model if you want to build a similar base reference setup.

Breakdown Step
2. Video generation
Use each still as the identity and composition reference for its matching motion clip.
Each reference image feeds directly into its respective video scene, so the still and the motion clip stay tightly aligned in identity, outfit, and location.
Intro and outro were generated in Seedance 2.0 because those shots contain speech. The other clips were generated in Kling 3.0 because it handles directed motion more convincingly for this style of travel edit.

Notes
- Seedance 2.0 was chosen for intro and outro because the speech felt more natural there.
- Kling 3.0 was used for the other clips because directed motion was stronger and more controllable.
Breakdown Step
3. Final CapCut assembly
Arrange the generated clips into one vertical sequence, add stickers, and finish the social edit with music.
After the individual clips were generated, they were imported into CapCut and arranged into the final travel-vlog sequence.
Stickers were added in the edit, and Touch The Sky was used as the background music for the final result.
