2. Approve the historical concept

Let the agent propose one researched concept, then approve it or request a materially different direction.

The agent selects an event with a clear visual hook, a documented human decision or turning point, and enough evidence to support a responsible sub-one-minute story.

Nothing advances until you approve the concept. This keeps the production focused before scene planning begins.

3. Approve the direction

Review the complete scene plan, timing, historical interaction, host presence, and continuity handoffs before prompts are written.

The direction stage maps the full Reel across two to five connected scenes, with exact durations, the documentary purpose of each beat, host actions, dialogue intent, camera coverage, and the final frame that hands off to the next scene.

Revise this direction until the history, pacing, and story feel right. The skill does not generate the Seedance prompts until the scene plan is approved.

4. Review and approve the prompt package

Check the foundation prompt and every forward-extension prompt before spending generation credits.

After the direction is approved, the agent delivers one copy-ready Seedance 2.5 prompt per scene, a reference map, the assembly order, the exact total runtime, and a host-presence audit.

Review the dialogue, timing, reference assignments, continuity state, and final-frame instructions. If something must change, request that correction before generating the clips.

5. Optional — generate an AI influencer

Create a present-day host in historically appropriate clothing when the Reel needs a reusable on-camera identity.

The skill can produce a separate image prompt for a clearly modern adult time traveler whose costume is adapted to the approved event.

Generate this portrait before preparing the character sheet. It becomes the visual identity anchor for every Seedance scene.

6. Create the character reference sheet

Use the supplied reference-sheet prompt with the chosen host image to create a stable production reference.

Attach the host image together with the character reference sheet PDF and follow its instructions to generate a clear multi-view identity sheet.

Use that finished sheet as the character reference for the video prompts so the host's face, body, hair, clothing, and accessories remain consistent across the Reel.

7. Generate the foundation video in Seedance

Attach the character reference sheet and use the first supplied prompt to establish the host, event, visual language, and continuity state.

Scene 1 is the foundation clip. Add the character reference sheet as the mapped identity input, paste the Scene 1 prompt into Seedance 2.5, and generate the opening scene.

Check that the host identity, historical setting, dialogue, action, and final continuity frame match the approved direction before continuing.

8. Continue with Extend Video

Create every subsequent scene by extending the previously approved clip rather than restarting from a new generation.

Use Seedance's Extend Video feature for Scene 2 and every later scene. Paste the matching extension prompt and begin from the exact final frame of the previous clip.

This preserves the host, wardrobe, location state, lighting, physical action, camera direction, and audio continuity across the finished Reel.

9. Final result

Assemble the approved foundation and extension clips into the completed vertical historical Reel.

The example result demonstrates the full system on a Wright brothers-era story: one consistent modern host remains physically present as the historical event unfolds around her.

The same skill can be reused for a different researched event by beginning a new conversation and approving a new concept and direction.
